Feisty, blunt and generous. Grandma Butternut is Buford's grandmother and housemate. She is constantly disappointed with him. Grandma is polite and sweet to everyone except to Buford. She adores the always helpful Numb Chucks as they remind her of the 'good ole days' in Ding-A-Ling Springs.
As the Series progressed, her Alzheimer's become more apparent. By the second season she has lost all cognitive ablities, being bed ridden for most of the season before Dilweed pulled her plug to end her misery in Beach Blanket Bozos.
